About High Flow Oxygen
High-flow oxygen gives warmed, humidified air and oxygen through soft nasal tubes at a higher flow than ordinary oxygen. It is more comfortable for children and can reduce the work of breathing.
The hospital uses the Fisher & Paykel Airvo 2 system for high-flow humidified oxygen therapy.
