Breathing trouble
Fast, noisy or laboured breathing, chest pulling in, or lips turning blue.
Fits or unconsciousness
A seizure, very drowsy, floppy or hard to wake.
Not drinking
Unable to breastfeed or drink, or vomiting everything.
Dehydration
Very few wet nappies, sunken eyes, dry mouth or no tears.
Fever in a young baby
Any fever in a baby under 3 months old.
Poisoning or injury
Swallowed medicine, chemicals or a small object, a bad fall, burn or bleeding.
